From challenge comes opportunity. The two months that everything shut down due to Covid-19, was a very difficult time. With more alone time than ever before, I spent a lot of time looking back on my life. The good and the bad. The triumphs and mistakes. It allowed me to rethink many of the things I went through, and the things I still want to do.
One of the only places I could still go, was my art studio. It was therapy. I realized I could take more time to create much larger paintings. But with more work going into them, it's a longer process to make them, and for someone to then actually acquire them. So, I decided to also do much smaller paintings, that people could buy right away, and brighten their home with.
While working on my signature chess board art, I learned to use sheets of paper to display multiple layers of abstract images. It was a unique experience that I could carry over into these smaller paintings I've been creating.
Today, I am sharing with you these smaller paintings. All the money raised from selling them will go toward installing a second large painting at the Children's Hospital in my native country of Latvia. Your support would allow me to brighten the lives of more children receiving life-saving treatments. The piece of art I already have at that hospital helps bring color and life to the halls, and it's my goal to do more for them. I would appreciate your consideration, and would love to help bring more color and life to your home too, with these smaller works.
Thank you for your time and consideration, Natalja
